I grew up in Savannah, GA and my career has brought me to the suburbs of Orlando to Clermont, FL. I attended the Medical College of Georgia where I obtained my Bachelors of Science in Radiation Therapy. A few short months after school I landed a great job in Sebring, FL as a Radiation Therapist. This is also where I would find my future husband, pictured on the left under the pier at Tybee Island, GA.
After a little over a year in Sebring, I was asked to come interview and got a job at what was the MD Anderson Cancer Center at Orlando Health, and is now the UF Health Cancer Center at Orlando Health. This was an amazing opportunity for me to work in a big center and really grow as a therapist and utilize all of my therapy skills. Since the organization has become UF Health Cancer Center it has blossomed immensely and I feel it is time for me to blossom with it. With that I am furthering my education through the University of Wisconsin at La-Crosse and obtaining my masters degree in Medical Dosimetry. |
